Spinjo Privacy Notice for Players and Visitors

Players often ask us two things about privacy: what exactly we keep, and what they can do about it. This notice answers both, following an account step by step from the first visit to the day it is closed. Spinjo is responsible for the processing described here; “we” and “our” stand for Spinjo, and “you” for anyone who visits our pages or holds an account with us.

1. When You Browse Our Pages

Even before you register, your browser or device sends technical information when our pages load on a computer, smartphone or tablet. Cookies that are needed for security, sign-in and basic operation are set automatically. Other cookies, for example to measure how our pages are used, are only set where the applicable rules allow it. You can block cookies in your browser, although parts of the account may then stop working properly.

2. When You Register

Opening an account takes an e-mail address, a password, your country and the account currency you pick. A mobile phone number is usually requested at this stage as well. Your address and date of birth can as a rule be filled in later in the profile. We need these details to create the account, to keep it in the country and currency you selected and to recognise you when you sign in.

3. When You Deposit or Withdraw

For every payment we record the amount, the date, its status and the method, whether a card, an e-wallet, bank transfer or a cryptocurrency. These records let us credit your deposits, send your payouts to the right person and keep the accounting that the law expects from us. Payment providers handling the transaction receive the details they need for it, and nothing more.

4. When We Check Your Identity

We confirm who you are before or at your first withdrawal. For that check we typically need documents covering your identity, your address and the payment method you use. Accurate profile details matter here: as a rule, wrong or incomplete details slow down the check and the payout that follows. If your details change, update your profile or let our team know.

5. While You Play

We keep a record of bets, game sessions, bonuses you take up and your wagering progress, together with loyalty points and your loyalty or VIP level. This is what allows us to apply the 40x wagering and 3-day validity of a bonus correctly, credit loyalty points and show you your own activity. The same records are used to run any deposit limit or self-exclusion you choose, and to spot misuse of accounts or payments.

6. When You Contact Us

Messages you send through our 24/7 live chat or by e-mail are kept together with our replies. That way a later conversation can pick up where the last one stopped, and what was agreed can be checked.

7. Keeping Data Safe

Information between your device and our systems travels over SSL encryption. Two-factor authentication can usually be switched on to protect sign-in further. Your part is just as important: choose a password you use nowhere else, never share it and sign out on devices other people use. Apart from the payment providers mentioned above, we pass data only to service providers that help us run our games and systems, and to authorities where the law requires it.

8. How Long Data Stays With Us

Data stays with us while your account is open. After closure, we keep what legal and accounting duties oblige us to keep, for as long as they apply, and then delete or anonymise it.

9. What You Can Ask Us

Within the law that applies to you, you may ask to see the data we hold about you, have mistakes corrected and have data erased that we no longer need. You may also limit or object to particular processing and receive your data in a common electronic format. Send your request through live chat or by e-mail from the address registered to your account. Before we act, we confirm that the request really comes from you, so that your data does not reach anyone else.

10. Raising a Concern

If something about the way we handle your data does not feel right, tell us first, and we will look into it. You are also entitled to complain to the data protection authority of your country. Whenever this notice is revised, the date at the top changes too.
